Great weather for the Canine Adventures Great Adventure. If happiness was judged by wagging tails, then there were 18 dogs in doggie heaven, not a cross bark between them too! Some dogs were finding it hard to control themselves waiting around at the car park at Coombe Wood where we all started. Molly & Harvey won the fastest exit from the back of the car, but as soon as everyone was ready Max was keen to lead the way, Tiffany, always a slow starter brought up the rear as we walked through Coombe Wood. So far so good, no dogs covered in mud! Halfway round Coombe Wood and Layla & Charlie are flying at the front.

All dogs decided that they wanted to take their owners on the medium or long walks.... But then they split up for the first time with about half the dogs doing the hours walk, with Max, Lexie & Tiffany (who was now well into her stride) leading the way with Ollie, Elsa, Yogi, Molly & Max in hot pursuit. Barney, Jake McCartney Buddy and the rest of the gang headed off to finish the long walk which they completed in a very muddy 2.5hrs. A good time was had by dogs and owners alike with several requests for another walk to be held in May 2010.
